I decided to run this site through the W3C Validation, and we only turned up with 3 errors. This is not bad, and the errors that do show up are just stupid and don’t really effect how the browser renders the page. I would try to fix the errors, but I am just too lazy and would probably fuck something else up.

Our Garry’s Mod server will be closing February 4th!

Well, it has been more than a month since an update, so here is what is going on:

-We have launched an image hosting site: http://contaminatedstudios.com/upload

-We have launched a test site for various things: http://test.contaminatedstudios.com

-We will be closing our 24/7 Gmod sever and go back to running our own server whenever we feel like.

That is pretty much it. We need to get working on some projects. I am considering going back to YouTube, reviewing stuff, making tutorials, and pimping this site. As soon as the weather gets nicer, we need to get the guns and film a new movie. Logan and I would also like to get into modeling and skinning, which would make this site a hub for all of that. If only school wasn’t getting in the way of all of this.

Well, the server has been having problems since launch. It has had frequent crashes, even if there is hardly any activity. It either randomly crashes or crashes when a player joins. There better be a patch soon or I will have to shut it down.

Thanks to Aen Tan, the creator of the Wordpress plugin Let is Snow, our site will be getting snow during these winter months.

I have decided to try out a dedicated gmod server, it is up now at 207.210.252.191:27015. In the future I would like to expand the server and maybe get a community set up. The server will be changing a lot in the next month, and if all goes good, we may open up another. I will also find some ways for you guys to support us, but for now, just keep coming back.

I guess you could call this a public release of the Contaminated Gaming Admin skin. The original skin was made by FakeFactory, and was edited by me. It will replace your current metrocop skin as well as Barney’s uniform. Install by extracting the .zip to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod or where ever you have Steam installed. To remove the skin, simply delete the folder located at C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod\materials\Police

What is up with Contaminated Studios?
Well, we have a few plans, one would be to get enough income from the site to start a 24/7 Garry’s Mod server, maybe even 2 of them. To do this, we need a steady stream of cash money. We are also looking at expanding, maybe open up a forum when we get enough readers, as well as start some other new sites. For now, we will just plan and hope that this site can pull in enough money to do some fun things.

Well, I have signed up for Google AdSense, you will see the ads around the site. They will appear on almost every page, and it will hopefully earn some money. If it can make around $20-$30 a month, I will open a 24/7 Gmod server. Hopefully you guys can “help” me with that goal by “looking” at those ads. If you can’t stand them, I recommend AdBlocker Plus for Firefox.
